THE IDEA / THE METHOD
Visitor friendliness means a traveller can enter, pay, stay, arrive and get urgent help with clear information and fewer avoidable barriers.
Payments, stays, entry, international flights and emergency care each have a proposed 20% weight. City transport appears as supporting payment and mobility evidence.
Service scores use fixed target lists. Both endpoints of a range are shown, without a midpoint. Scores describe the sample, not the whole city.
Each claim needs a source, scope and date. Target lists: 30 payment places, 30 stays and 5 hospitals per city. Website claims are distinct from phone checks and actual visits.
Proposed weights: 20% each for payments, stays, entry, aviation and emergency care. This edition presents dimensions separately, without an overall total.
